Hotel Dusk: Room 215

by 1234567890num

Part 53: 07:20 PM

Music: Same as previous updates (Sapu)

This update won't be too long since the entirety of it is dedicated to dealing with Jeff's bullshit. Yeah, that apparently took 20 minutes.

Remember, we still have 2 items in the vending machine. For some reason Dunning won't give coins anytime else.

Show room 217 key or stack of cash

Hey!

Music: Drunken Waltz
The hell's this?

So it WAS you, eh?!

What?

Don't try and worm yer way outta this!

I knew there was somethin' fishy about ya! And now you've proved me right, ya lowdown thief!

Get out! Get the hell outta my hotel!

Hey, it rhymes!

What?

Music: Dream's End
(That wasn't supposed to happen. That's not how I expected him to act.)

Damn...

Louie: 5
Rosa: 4
Dunning: 4
Martin: 2
Melissa: 2
Iris: 1
Jeff: 1

Like Hobgoblin said; it is silly that showing Dunning the cash leads to a game over. We could've just wanted to ask who the money belongs to (although we already know now).

By the way, that Jeff flashback still happen even if we showed Dunning the room key or the "forbidden" items from Chapter 2.

Since we didn't press, we don't have any further questions. If we talk to Martin:

Music: Easy Feeling
Got a minute?

Dear me. What is this world coming to?

Yeah! How horrible! Someone is making an art display while another person is missing! Shame! Also there's some robbery but whatever who cares.

With nothing to do, we try to head out...

Music: Insomnia
(Wait a minute...)
(What did Dunning say when I asked about Jeff?)
Ain't nothin'! Nothin' at all. Forget about it, will ya?
He was about to spill something. I wonder what it was...

Music: Sapu

A great logic from Dunning .

Anyway, we then finish questioning Dunning and talk to Martin.

And that's it! As I said earlier, that apparently took 20 minutes. So let me show you guys something.

Music: So Noted

See the bookmark on the right? That one's unavailable when I showed this screen earlier. It's the summary menu (which was also unavailable earlier).

It's the summary of the chapters we completed! I completely forgot about this feature intentionally waited until we actually completed some chapters to show it.

[i]While I'm at it, here's the system screen. The rumble option is unavailable because it requires a Rumble Pak (not pack). It would be quite impressive if an emulator that supports it can cause the entire computer to shake.

The HAND option does exactly what you'd expect. It rotates the screen to make it easier for left-handed players to play. It defaults with right.
